For us girls even a day out with the girls for lunch, we like to dress nice and look like we have made an effort. Its one of those occasions you don’t want to appear to dressy but you don’t want to be too casual at the same time. So I’ve picked out an outfit that could be perfect for a more casual lunch date or could be worn to a more dressy lunch date, I hope you like it!
First I picked some black skinny jeans, they are such a staple and I made sure I picked some with plenty of stretch, as you don’t want to feel uncomfortable whilst eating, they can be dressed up or worn casually on a day-to-day basis.
I then wanted to pick a cute top that was smart but not over the top and I think this top is perfect its white with some lazer cut out flowers along the scalloped hem and little jewel flowers dotted around it. Of course its england you need a jacket unless you want to be very chilly and every girl needs a leather jacket in their wardrobe. They are so versatile and can really finish off and add a slight edginess, again this item is also great for casual or dressy days and nights.
I wanted to give two options for the shoes, a flat option and a heeled option, these red flat shoes are so pretty they add a pop of colour to this very monochrome outfit and they have cute little bows on the heel of them! For the heeled option I wanted to keep them quite low and simple as you don’t want to look like your going for a night out, these are perfect and I love the strap detail, it makes them a bit more interesting and different!
Last but not least for accessories I chose this simple quilted black bag with metal corners, this has a strap so you can dress it down by putting it over your shoulder, or dress it up by carrying it like a clutch! For jewellery I chose these chunky silver hamsa hand and evil eye earrings, I think there quite edgy and not to dainty, I then chose to add this silver coin bracelet, I really love this bracelet, it’s quite unusual, both the earings and bracelet add something to the outfit without being to bling and going over the top!
Lets me know if you have any ‘What To Wear’ requests in the comments!
