Spring Outfit: Day-To-Night

Spring Outfit: Day-To-Night

When I buy an item of clothing I often look at how versatile a item is, what could I wear it with or what occasion could I wear the item too,  a formal or casual event. Sometimes when your busy and someone springs a night out on you its nice to be able to just change-up the accessories and shoes to make what your already wearing, its fuss free and easy! It’s also nice to know when you buy something that your going to get a lot of wear out of it and you’re not limited to what you can wear something with or when you can wear it.

To take this outfit from day-to-night I’ve change flat shoes to sophisticated sling back high heels, this is a very obvious way to change the feel of an outfit and make it more dressy. Another good way to make an outfit look more evening appropriate is add a clutch bag, they dress up any outfit and are usually worn for nights out or more formal occasions. I think watches can be very casual and more of a day time accessories, I think wearing a watch on a night out could ruin the femininity and classiness of the outfit, that’s not always the case of course, but I’d swap the watch for a statement necklace, to add something extra to the outfit. Changing your make up to a more smoky eye look or a bolder lip colour can also change your look from day-to-night!
