Kinda Sorta Haul

Haul blog post

I know people normally share what they have bought and kept in a shopping haul, but I thought I’d share what I’ve recently ordered online but hasn’t arrived yet. I get pretty excited waiting for online orders to arrive, so I thought why not share my excitement and maybe some of you guys will get inspiration from what I’ve bought. I know I love being nosey and seeing what lovely things other people have bought! I probably won’t keep all of the stuff just because it’s very rare I like everything on me and keep everything I order. I needed some spring/summer appropriate items of clothing and things that I can pair with stuff I already own, so I went on a bit of an online shopping splurge!

ASOS Top with Lace Collar

I recently bought some navy and white gingham leggings from Topshop so I thought this top paired with a longer top underneath would go well. I like the fact its got  sleeves to cover the tops of my arm as I’m not keen on that area being on show  if I can avoid it, but there also not to long for summer, plus I really like the lace detailing around the neck!

New Look Black Crochet Hem Kimono &  New Look Cream Wide Sleeve Floral Crochet Hem Kimono

I bought these in a smaller size than I am because kimono style things tend to make me look bigger than I am, so I didn’t want them to be to baggy on me. I decided to try the black and white because there both versatile colours and I think they will be perfect for spring and summer, there a light weight comfortable material but will keep your arms warm when its a breezy sunny day!

ASOS Cardigan With Lace Heart Elbow Patch

I thought this cardigan would also go well with the navy gingham leggings  I mentioned earlier but also go with a lot of other things. I haven’t got a navy cardigan and I thought the lace heart elbow patches were a nice touch and make it a bit different, it’s currently in the sale to!

ASOS Longline Woven Cami Top

This is just a basic that you can wear with anything, this style of cami are everywhere at the moment and again I thought would be light and breezy for spring/summer with the gingham leggings and other things. When it came to wearing those leggins I realised I didn’t have many plain items that didn’t clash with the pattern so as you can see I bought a lot of items with them in mind!

ASOS PETITE Swing Dress With Floral Border Print

This will either look really lovely or make me look like a sac of potatoes. I don’t like body con dresses because I’m not the slimmest of girls, but swing dresses can either skim over and hide a multitude of sins or make you look bigger and shapeless! I think this would be lovely in the summer, its nice and light and I love the floral black and white almost drawn on flower border. I think it’s really simple but pretty! I ordered this in normal and petite, as I wasn’t sure which fit would be better!

ASOS PETITE Elephant Embroidered Swing Dress

Another swing dress, which I could not turn down. I have a little obsession with elephants and ethnic looking patterns like Mandela’s, Hamsa Hands and Buddha’s etc and I literally fell in love with the embroided elephant detail and acid wash effect. I am really hoping I like it on as much as I do off! Again I ordered the normal and petite version of this dress!

New Look Coral Daisy Print Cap Sleeve Swing Dress

Clearly I was into swing dresses when I made these recent online purchases! I love the bright colour of this dress for summer, I also love the simple daisy print that’s  all over the dress! I like the fact it has cap sleeves just to cover the tops of my arms!

ASOS Vest with Zip Detail

Another basic white vest top, but this time with a twist it has two pockets and zip detail which is what I really love about it. I’m not sure I will keep both white strappy tops but who knows, you can never have to many basics right?

ACESSORIES

New Look Wide Fit Tan Leather Two Part Caged Sandals

I have ridiculously wide feet but also tiny feet, so New look wide fit shoes are perfect for me. I’ve been seeing this style of sandle everywhere but none fit my wide tiny weird feet into them so I hope these will! There tan and they will go with most things and look really cute with dresses!

New Look Wide Fit Stone Leather-Look Metal Trim Flat Sandals

I’m pretty low on spring/summer appropriate shoes and I really like these, they come in a variety of colours at a bargain price, also from New Looks wide fit range. They have a metal look trim across the foot, but it’s not metal so you won’t be losing any comfort whilst sporting the metal  hardware trend!

ASOS Faux Pearl Triangle Necklace

I have been seeing a lot of these fabric and beaded necklaces about and I think statement necklaces are a staple item, they can really add something to a plain outfit. I love the mixture of colours, beads and gems with in this necklace and I think it will look lovely for spring/summer!

ASOS Matte Classic Retro Sunglasses With Blue Flash Lens

I bought a pair of sunglasses recently that just keep falling of my face, so I thought I’d go for some smaller framed ones with adjustable silicone nose pads for comfort! I love this style of sunglasses and I think the blue flash lens adds something a bit different to your bog standard sunglasses with black tinted lenses!

ASOS Daisy Hair Bun Holder

I always find my self doing the same old things with my hair and it gets a little boring. I thought this cute daisy bun holder would be perfect for those days when you throw your hair into a messy bun, you can pop this around the bun to add a little something to an everyday hair style, its cute, fun and very spring and summer appropriate!

Are you stocking up on spring/summer clothes? and do you get as excited as me about online orders arriving in the post?
